Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Eyeshadow

I recently received Kylie Cosmetics Matte liquid Eyeshadow complimentary of Influenster and Kylie Cosmetics. I recieved the shade, 2 Steps Ahead. This shade is a pretty rich brown with a subtle purple tint. The matte liquid eyeshadow comes in five shades.

When I tested the product, I dabbed a small amount onto a tray and took an eyeshadow brush and blended it out onto my eyelids. It was very easy to blend. The product has lots of pigment so its very buildable. A little goes a long way. It did not crease as promised and created a blurred matte look.

The 5 shades are all beautiful, but I hope more options are eventually released. The matte liquid eyeshadow does come at a reasonable pricepoint. This is definitely a product worth trying.

OUAI St. Barts Body Creme

I recieved this OUAI St. Barts body creme from Influenster and OUAI in exchange for my honest review. When I opened the jar of OUAI body creme, I was immediately whisked away to a tropical vacation. With notes of dragon fruit, orange blossom, tuberose and baltic amber, you are whisked away by a scent that is absolutely divine. At first, I thought that the coconut in the creme was overpowering, but when I put the creme on the coconut was subtle. What stood out were the notes of tuberose and orange blossom.

The body creme is very nourishing and hydrating to the skin without being too thick or greasy. The creme has capuaca butter to hydrate the skin along with coconut oil and squalane that nourishes the skin to leave it glowing. The creme is sulfate free, vegan, and cruelty free.

A little goes a long way and leaves your skin silky smooth. This body creme will give you a subtle glow. It will leave you feeling glowing, refreshed, and you will drift away to your favorite island.

Dr. Teal’s Shea Sugar Scrub

I was kindly gifted the Dr. Teal’s Shea Sugar Scrub from Influenster and Dr. Teals. This is an exfoliating sugar scrub. Exfoliating your skin sloughs away any of your extra skin cells that are left over after new ones are regenerated on a daily basis as skin cells renew. This keeps our skin brighter and gives it that glow. Exfoliation can also stimulate collagen production which can keep the skin looking younger and firmer.

Therefore, if you didn’t know before, these are a few of the benefits of exfoliation. So, now you can understand why I was excited fo try the Dr. Teals Shea Sugar Scrub. Exfoliating your skin a few times a week is a great habit. I would reccomend doing so once per week, working your way up.

The scrub felt great on my skin. I applied the scrub gently in circular motions massaging into my skin in a warm bath. The scrub is thick and gritty of course. However, it is not a dry scrub or watery. It lathers on nicely. The scent was very pleasant. After rinsing and slathering on some Dr. Teals collagen lotion, my skin feels amazing.

Not Your Mothers Curl Talk

I was kindly gifted Not Your Mothers Curl Talk bond building shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask. I was excited to try because I have curly thick hair. I do get Brazillian blowouts every three to four months, but my hair still has a curl until styled. What I like most about this product is that it is silicone and sulfate free. The product is at a good price point and is easily accesible. You can buy these at your local Target, drugstore, or even Amazon.

Let us go over my experience using the products. I first began with the shampoo. I loved the way it lathered up. While, it did lather well, I found myself using a large amount to cover my hair. The smell was not unpleasant and very faint. This would be good for someone sensitive to fragrance. I did expect my hair to feel a bit more hydrated afterwards. Last but not least, after fully cleansing and rinsing my hair, I applied the hair mask. I let it sit for about five minutes before rinsing. This was more hydrating than the conditioner.

My final take, is that the product is a good option for someone that wants a curly hair friendly product. You may find yourself using up the product earlier than most if your hair is super thick. However, at the reasonable price point it would likely be worth it.

Currently, I am using a salon brand product which I feel is not a fair comparison. I would see myself purchasing the bond building hair mask again. This is a good option for many and clearly curly girl friendly.

Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum

Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum does what it says, but I speak on behalf of someone without visible signs of aging around my eyes. I am of the mindset that you should take preventative measures before the signs of aging appear to minimize the damage.

One way to do so, is to keep your skin hydrated and replenished on a cellular level. The Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum uses Biocellular Longoza technology which reenergizes the skin. After using this product, my skin around my eyes was brighter, firmer, and more supple. There is a rye extract in the formula that is supposed to visibly tone and firm the skin.

One of my favorite skin care ingredients is in this eye serum, Hyaluronic acid, which will provide your skin with just the right amount of hydration. I was initially gifted this several months ago from Influenster and Dior and now use daily.

This eye serum, by Dior is now apart of my daily skincare arsenal to fight those signs of aging. It will cost around $80, but a little bit goes a long way. One bottle can last you at least a few months. I definitely recommend adding this product to your skin care routine.
