Rare Beauty Dewy Liquid Blush

Rare Beauty Dewy Liquid Blush, in Hope, is a warm-toned, medium pink liquid blush. The formula has a very fluid consistency and is lightweight. I found this blush very easy to work with. It has a lip gloss like applicator.

It glides on easily over foundation or bare skin. I was able to apply the blush very evenly and it blended well. The blush gives a dewy finish and has a very hydrating formula.

It feels almost weightless when applied. This hydrating formula gives you a good bit of time to blend out before it dries. The formula is highly pigmented. One drop goes a long way. The Rare Beauty Dewy Liquid Blush is definitely worth the buy.

MAC Lipstick in Whirl

This is a creamy matte lipstick in a neutral rose shade. It is said to be great for all skin types, but I found it to be somewhat dull for my preference. I still use the lipstick to blend with other shades because of the nice tone combined with the long lasting wear of MAC lipstick.

If you are looking for a natural lip shade with just a hint of color then this shade will work well. The lipstick does not cake and is not too drying. It is a very blendable formula that you can achieve many looks with if desired. Adding a nice gloss like MAC’s lipglass is another great option.

This lipstick will definitely help you achieve that nineties lip trend and you may find it to be a staple in your personal collection. For me its is a bit too light, but many rave about this color. The quality is exceptional like many other MAC products. Buying this in the mini was the perfect way for me to experiment with this color.

MAC Magic Extension Mascara

This MAC mascara claims to give you lash extension level length with 5mm fibers. These fibers attach to each individual lash to volumize and condition for all day wear. I am sold on the lash conditioning aspect with a Crystal Elixir Powder, an olive oil derivative, and natural waxes to condition the lashes. After wearing lash extensions, I am always looking for products to repair and condition my lashes.

The mascara did glide on nicely and slightly lengthened my lashes. If you are looking for a more subtle look then you would love this mascara. I was looking for a more dramatic effect. The mascara still performed well. I will continue to use my tube to get the conditioning benefits.

The mascara can be slightly stubborn to remove. I recommend blotting gently with a good gentle eye makeup remover at the end of the day. I always give my lashes a good cleansing daily.

Nars Power Matte Lip Pigment


A rich red with warm undertones and a satin finish. Creamy and lightweight creating a flexible hold still resulting in a matte finish. It is formulated with a Power Pigment Complex that locks in and saturates lips with bold, comfortable color. 

Glides on smoothly and long lasting. You really only need one swipe to transfer on the lipstick for a smooth matte finish. Its available in 21 shades.

Something to note, is that from my experience, it is not completely transfer proof, but does last for hours. The lip pigment also does not feather around the mouth. It is Vegan and free of phtalaytes parabens, and formaldehyde. The Nars Powermatte lip pigment in Vain has quickly become my go to red.

Nood

Nood is an at home IPL hair removal device. By using the Nood at least twice a week on the targeted areas, you should see a significant reduction in hair after two months. You must shave the desired area first to get close to the hair follicles.

You can plug in your Nood and use immediately after recieving. It is not cordless, but some users of cordless IPL devices have noted that they get slower and slower after you run out of a charge. Honest Mama Glow on Body Cream

Oh my goodness!!! If I had to recommend one all over body cream, this would be it. This cream was developed with postnatal mamas in mind, but honestly I would recommend this for anyone.

The Glow on Body cream firms and rehydrates the body, supporting everywhere from the belly to bottom. The long lasting hydration provided has clinically shown to help skin bounce back after pregnancy and reduce cellulite. I used this after the birth of my current baby and I am still using it religiously. Everyday after a bath or shower I put this on all the spots I feel need a little extra love.

Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum does what it says, but I speak on behalf of someone without visible signs of aging around my eyes. I am of the mindset that you should take preventative measures before the signs of aging appear to minimize the damage.

One way to do so, is to keep your skin hydrated and replenished on a cellular level. The Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum uses Biocellular Longoza technology which reenergizes the skin. After using this product, my skin around my eyes was brighter, firmer, and more supple. There is a rye extract in the formula that is supposed to visibly tone and firm the skin.

One of my favorite skin care ingredients is in this eye serum, Hyaluronic acid, which will provide your skin with just the right amount of hydration. I was initially gifted this several months ago from Influenster and Dior and now use daily.

This eye serum, by Dior is now apart of my daily skincare arsenal to fight those signs of aging. It will cost around $80, but a little bit goes a long way. One bottle can last you at least a few months. I definitely recommend adding this product to your skin care routine.

IT Cosmetics Essentials

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores & Brow Power

Two of my favorite cosmetics from IT Cosmetics is their, Bye Bye Pores pressed translucent powder and the Brow Power eyebrow pencil in Universal taupe. I adore their foundation, but we will save that for a later post.

After applying my makeup the translucent powder, in my opinion is currently the best setting powder around. It is good for my skin and won’t dry it out. It also doesn’t cake my makeup. I use a full coverage IT Cosmetics brush sold by Ulta and its the perfect finish.

Now, the Brow Power eyebrow pencil in Universal taupe was a game changer for my routine. I still like a natural look, but wanted my brows enhanced and for my look to be complete. This was my first time using an eyebrow pencil and it was simple. One side is the eyebrow pencil and the other side is a brush.

You use the pencil across your brows and the brush blends it in for a natural look. Universal Taupe is a good color for practically any shade of brunette. You can make it darker or lighter. The pencil comes in many colors though. I would definitely give it a try. I will update you if I find another favorite.
